To become a G7 Expert, individuals must attend and successfully complete an Idealliance G7 Expert Training with a minimum level of 90% proficiency. G7 Expert certification is valid for two years.
G7 Master:
G7 Master status is granted to a physical facility, equipment, and/or systems. It indicates that the facility has calibrated certain equipment and systems to G7 gray balance and neutral tone curves and is capable of delivering G7 proofs and print products. To have a location become G7 Master Qualified, a G7 Expert must work with the facility to educate staff about G7 and calibrate their proofing systems and/or presses. G7 Master Qualification is valid for one calendar year and must be renewed annually.
